Custom Coral Reef Aquariums

I own Aquarium Concepts and have been doing marine aquariums for over 24 years and have seen many changes. I hope you will post to this blog any ideas you might have for making reef keeping more fun for other hobbists. We also keep and sell African Cichlids and would love to hear comments on them too.

Thank you for all of your help last week. You really made the drive over from Ruston worth while!

Not that you wanted to know, but I wanted to share my excitement. So far things seem to be going very well. The shrimp and fish seem very active. The corals opened up as soon as the lights went on. The neon dotty is a lot of fun to watch. I think it has gone through every possible nook and cranny of the tank. It seems to enjoy finding new spaces to fit through. I also like to see it attack the food as it drifts down. It likes to snag pieces and carry them to the back of the tank. The shrimp are equally fun to watch. They have claimed a "cave" where they like to hang out upside down. They also scurry after the food, giving the dotty a run for the money. Thanks for the great customer service, suggestions, reassurance and "tech support". Aquarium Concepts rocks!

Hey Scott,

Wanted to say thanks for the help you provided us in setting up and maintaining our Salt Water Aquariums. Your expertise has made the difference. THANKS...

We plan to come by for another visit and see whats new with you and Aquarium Concepts very soon. We are currently living in Tenaha, Texas, and feel the 110 mile round trip is not a problem when you find quality support and good pricing.

We will see you soon!

Just wanted to give a shout out to my friends over at Aquarium Concepts. The coolest thing I ever bought from Scott was a pulsating zenia. They need current and lots of light and they grow fast. It rewarded me by dancing like John Travolta. :)
